You can use fresh or frozen berries, depending what is on hand and in season. You can also use vanilla greek or natrual yoghurt, depending on your taste.
This recipe is low fat, low sodium and a good source of protein.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
- 1 ½ cups low fat milk
- 1 small tub vanilla/natural/greek yoghurt (125g)
- ¼ cup oats
- 1 tbsp honey
Method
- Blend all ingredients together.
- Serve in chilled glasses, with straws.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of oats.
