Pork & Cabbage Stir Fry
Because it uses sweet soy sauce (Kecap Manis), children tend to like it and it's a great way to get vegetables into their diet if that's an issue. If you don't eat pork then use lean chicken or turkey, both would be a great substitute. You can find Ketcup Manis in the asian section of most supermarkets, it is a sweet soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 250g pork mince, lean
- 1 large carrot, grated
- ½ cup frozen peas
- 1 apple, grated
- 2 spring onions, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 tbsp. Kecap Manis (Sweet Soy Sauce)
- 1 tbsp. fish sauce
- 1 tbsp. mirin
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp. garlic crushed
- Cooking spray
Method
- 1Heat a non-stick fry pan or wok. Spray with cooking spray and add pork mince, cook meat until browned. Season with cracked pepper, add garlic and ginger, stir frying for 1 minute.
- 2Add to pan grated carrot, cabbage and apple cooking a further 2 minutes. Add Kecup Manis, fish sauce, mirin and mix until well combined. Finish off with spring onions.
- 3Serve immediately.
