Mini Macaroni Bolognese Pizza

Mini Macaroni Bolognese Pizza

This pizza is a great way to use left over sauce from a spaghetti bolognese meal the night before. The flavours seem to intensify making it even tastier the day after.

Of course this recipe needn't be made with left overs as it is worth cooking from scratch, particularly if you are making more than one.

Ingredients

  • 1 mini pizza base – in the supermarket fridge section or pita bread
  • 100g Bolognese Sauce (we used leftover mixture)
  • 30g Macaroni cooked
  • 1 tbsp. pizza sauce
  • 1 tbsp. reduced fat cheese
  • 1 tsp. parmesan cheese (fresh)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190C.
  2. Place 1 pizza base on oven tray lined with baking paper
  3. Spread pizza sauce over base of pizza.
  4. Cook pasta as per instructions.  Once cooked drain, in the meantime heat in small saucepan Bolognese sauce and then add the pasta.  Mix around to coat the past.
  5. Spread pasta mixture on the base evenly.
  6. Sprinkle Cheese on top and bake in oven for 15 mins.
  7. Once cooked take out and place shaved parmesan cheese on top.
