This coconut water based drink is a refreshing, low-fat health drink. Any berry would work well, use frozen when fresh is not available.

Coconut water is a natural isotonic drink that provides many of the same benefits as formulated sports drinks, including the electrolytes calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium, but in their natural form.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (we used frozen)
  • 4 strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 freshly squeeze orange
  • Handful of ice cubes

Method

  1. Place coconut water, orange juice, blueberries, strawberries and ice cubes in blender.
  2. Blend for about 1 minute or until blueberries have blended.
  3. Serve in chilled glasses.
