Smoked Salmon is an ideal entertaining ingredient because it has an upmarket feel about it, is very versatile because it is complimented by so many other great ingredients, is delicious and very, very healthy.
Ingredients
- 400g wholegrain bread slices (approx 6 slices)
- 80g light sour cream
- 10g chives
- 50g smoked salmon
- 5g chives (for garnish)
Method
- Cut circles out of bread.
- Place bread in muffin tray and cook 10-15 minutes until just golden brown.
- Mix together sour cream and chives and set aside.
- Slice smoked salmon into strips and set aside.
- Remove bread from oven and let cool. Spoon sour cream mixture into the baskets, top with smoked salmon and extra chives as a garnish.
